Soy Candles for Spring

Every season we make candles. We make soy candles because they are made from sustainable product. It's a natural product that helps farmers and burns cleaner.
Here are the steps :
Whats needed: we used four candle jars we saved from cleaned our previously burned candle, a melting pot, a wooden spoon, a thermometer, a bunch of dyes, the wicks, and the vials of scents.

We start by glueing the wicks to the bottom of the jar.
Next we weigh the soy wax.

And melt them on the stove.

Once the temperature reaches 185 degrees Fahrenheit, drop 2 dye chips in and an ounce of fragrance & stir.

You then take it off the heat and let it cool to 125 degrees

and pour it into the jar, use popsicle sticks to hold the wick in place.

We repeated the process with four scrumptious scents : strawberry shortcake, lavender, lemon chiffon, and rosemary.
embellish with a cute bow, stickers or whatever you like! And your done! Candle making is a surprisingly easy and fun seasonal project that you can enjoy all spring! (or any other season you choose as a matter of fact!)

All of our candle products are from http://www.candlescience.com/.
